We take responsibility for the operations and monitoring of your databases through remote connection, 24/7/365 – Business Database operations and on call duty nights and weekends, 365 days a year.
The Premium level contains everything from the Business level and adds “On Call duty” for nights and weekends. With the Premium level for your database operations, you receive a safe and cost effective monitoring and operations solution for your databases 24/7/365, with qualified, highly experienced DBAs. We have a response time of one hour for initiating problem resolution. Remote connection is a must for rapid response according to these on call times.

Primary Services
When you choose our PREMIUM service level we will deliver monthly Health Checks, 24/7 readiness with a response time of one hour and 24/7 monitoring as our primary services.
Health Check
Let us check your databases and/or OS for you. For each check, you will receive a report with findings and recommendations.
The findings and recommendations will be prioritized and grouped into critical issues requiring immediate action, warnings requiring action as soon as possible, and non-critical issues that can be handled with no time pressure. The checks will focus on performance, security, configuration, usage, resource planning and many other aspects of importance for your environment.
The checks are performed using a proactive approach that, combined with data gathering, enables us to identify issues before they turn into problems. When you choose the PREMIUM service level, checks will be performed on a monthly basis.
Monitoring
We can monitor your databases, OS, servers, storage and many other entities using event-based monitoring. We can do that by tapping into an already existing monitoring setup configured in your environment. Or we can deliver event-based monitoring to you by providing our own setup specifically for your organization. In both cases we will maintain and further develop the monitoring setup that suits your needs.
We can also help build non-standard monitoring for monitoring points specific to your domain.
When you choose the PREMIUM service level, we will monitor your systems and react to events 24/7/365 with a response time of one hour.
Readiness
We will handle your incidents 24/7/365. We will do that with a response time one hour.
Your incidents will reach our team of highly skilled and experienced DBAs directly – we don’t use 1st or 2nd level. Whether incidents are initiated through monitoring or by calls from your employees, they will go directly to our group of 3rd level database experts.

We can handle patching of your databases for you. We will plan regular service windows to suit your annual schedule. Whenever a patch is published, we will evaluate the impact of this specific patch for your environment. If the patch requires immediate action, we will recommend this, and plan the urgent patching with you, and execute it. If not, we will apply the patch using the next scheduled service window.
As part of the Patch Management service, we will also keep track of the support lifecycle for your current versions. We will inform you in good time when you versions are running out of support and patches will no longer be published.
Daily Backup Check add
We can keep track of the execution and validation of your daily backups. We will scan through backup logs on a daily basis, and react if they are not Successful.
In the event of failed backups we will evaluate whether they should be reexecuted or the following execution of same the type of backup should get extra attention.
We will also troubleshoot the reason for the failure, and fix the issues together with you.

We can also make sure that the switch over process is documented. We recommend that this type of test is made 1-2 times a year to verify the disaster recovery environment.
License Review add
We can help you prepare for an Oracle License Audit. We will evaluate your server setup - physical as well as virtual – for all your servers using Oracle products.
We will measure this server setup against your acquired Oracle licenses and conclude whether you are compliant or not. We will also look into your Oracle databases, to determine if your usage of features, options and management packs are covered by licenses.
In case of any type of uncompliance, we will guide you towards the necessary changes to achieve compliance. We will also carry out these changes for you, if so desired. All of this is done in due time prior to an Oracle audit, to help you pass the audit. Consider us the mechanic you turn to, prior to handing over your car to inspection.

When Oracle uses their contractual right to perform a license audit we can be your advisor to verify and help out in the contact with Oracle auditors. We can check the results of you daily batch flows for you. Together we will initially define which job/flows to handle.

DBSAT Security Check add

The Oracle DBSAT security check analysis is based on Oracle's safety analysis tool DBSAT. The analysis, including report, comments and a personal meeting with a presentation and walk through of the report performed by a senior Oracle Consultant.
